APILON 52 BIO
APILON™ 52 BIO is a family of thermoplastic polyurethane based on renewable raw materials offering the same performance as traditional fossil‑based TPUs.
There are two major advantages of bio-based plastic products compared to conventional versions:
- Reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions
- Conservation of fossil resources for future generations
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method for evaluating the environmental impact of a product, considering its entire life cycle from extraction of the raw materials to final disposal. The method is standardized by ISO 14040 and 14044.
